Copenhagen is a beautifully situated city. The proximity of the sea, bays and island characteristics contribute to the unique landscape, especially when seen from above.
However, along with this beautiful scenery of Copenhagen comes the unpredictability of the weather. Hot air balloon events require long logistical preparations both on the side of the organizer and the balloon teams themselves. Therefore, in order to avoid the possibility of canceling the event due to bad weather, we decided to use the STAND BY system. The entire event is set up and ready to be carried out. We have confirmed balloon teams from Denmark, Sweden, Poland and Germany. We have obtained the necessary approvals from Air Trafic Control and... we are waiting for good weather conditions. The decision to launch the event will be made 3-4 days before it takes place, and after a thorough analysis of the weather forecast. As soon as the event is scheduled, both the public and the participants will be notified via social media. Get updates on the event through our social media - we follow the traffic light system: red means 'stand by', yellow means 'get ready', and green means GO!
The most incredible and spectacular part of every balloon event
Night Glow is an inseparable part of every balloon party. This is the most spectacular moment when the audience comes together with the balloon crews to admire the beauty of the illuminated balloons to the rhythm of music. This is the moment when, having experienced and seen the flight of balloons over the city, you can say "WOOOOW, I have never seen anything more beautiful!"We have planned a Night Glow in CPH on the second day of our event. It requires a separate preparation process and very specific weather conditions. The wind speed must be close to 0 and it cannot rain. Even though there is a chance that the highly demanding conditions may hinder our ability to conduct the Night Glow, we'll do our best to make it happen. We encourage you to follow our Facebook page for the latest information.
